On 31st May 2026, three awareness programmes on “Balanced Use of Fertilizer in Agriculture” were organized in Badamba-Narsinghpur block of Cuttack district in Odisha. First, at the remote tribal village of Olaba with the participation of 150 farmers (100 males and 50 females), current and ex- sarpanch and panchayat members. We specially promote them given their stark economic condition and vulnerability to climate change, with climate resilient rice and dhanicha seeds. The second at Arakhabadi of Narsinghpur where 200 farmers (50 women) from nearby 6 villages assembled, along with ATMA Chairman and village presidents. They will be growing rice with dhanicha without chemical fertilizer. The third at Bhatarika of Badamba, with the participation of 20 farmers.
