The distribution of sprinkler units and agricultural tools to Scheduled Caste farmers of Bapujipalli, Darpanarayanpur, and Kendudipi villages in Nayagarh district of Odisha was successfully conducted on 09.04.2026. The initiative aimed to enhance on-farm water use efficiency and promote improved agricultural practices among small and marginal farmers. Sprinkler systems were provided to facilitate efficient irrigation, particularly in areas facing water constraints and uneven rainfall distribution. Alongside, essential agricultural tools were distributed to reduce labor drudgery and support timely field operations. The program also served as a platform to sensitize farmers about scientific water management and the benefits of modern irrigation techniques. Overall, the intervention is expected to contribute to improved crop productivity, better resource utilization, and enhanced livelihoods in the target villages.
