ICAR-IIWM, Bhubaneswar organized one day trainers training programme on 25th September, 2026 for the officers working in the Agriculture and Horticulture Department of Sehore districts of MP in the topic “Hands on Training in Sprinkler Irrigation for higher Crop and Water Productivity” at DDA Office, Sehore. Sh A. Upadhyay, Deputy Director, Agriculture, Sehore District inaugurated the training programme and Sh A.K. Jat, Assistant Director acted as guest of Honour. Dr. A. Sarangi, Director, ICAR-IIWM, Bhubaneswar delivered the inaugural lecture on Water management for enhancing crop water productivity in the region- An overview. Subsequently, Dr. P. K. Panda, Principal Scientist (Agronomy) & Dr. D. C. Sahoo, Principal Scientist (SWCE) delivered various lectures and interacted with the participants in different dimensions of sprinkler irrigation. The training was attended by 37 officers.
